Following Minnesota Property Assessment statutes, assessors are required to review properties at a minimum of every 5 years (20% of properties), and if you received our postcard this year, your property is scheduled to be viewed. The assessor’s office does allow property owners to use this online self-reporting form to supplement regular physical viewings. If interested in shortening the review time when a staff appraiser visits your property, please fill out this online form. Appraisers may still visit your property to verify structures and update property photos. They WILL BE wearing identification during that visit.

If you choose not to submit the self-reporting form, a staff appraiser will conduct a regular physical viewing including interior reviews/questioning. If you are having issues filling out this online form or not comfortable doing this online, our staff appraisers can help over the phone, their number is listed on your postcard, or the general office number is 320-656-3680.
